Webinar Overview:

The class is segmented into six 90-minute sessions over two days (three sessions per day).

Prior to the workshop

  • The facilitator will make connection with each learner and get him or her prepared for the virtual session.
  • The facilitator will mail a hard copy of the materials to each learner.
  • The learner will complete the “Launch” portion of the workshop, which consists of two questionnaires and a worksheet that will be used in the session.

Day one

The first session will introduce the format for the virtual sessions and launch the learning process for the SLII Leadership Model. Learners will gain further insight into the three skills associated with SLII - goal setting, diagnosing, and matching. Session 2 will continue to build on the SLII Model. Learners will gain further insight into the skill of goal setting and SLII. Session 3 will focus on the skills of diagnosing the development level and matching the appropriate style.

Day two

The day starts with session 4, which will focus on the skill of matching and will provide an opportunity for learners to practice using the SLII Model on real-life situations. Session 5 will bring it all together. Learners will begin to see how the SLII Model and the three skills of goal setting, diagnosing, and matching apply to their everyday leadership situations. Learners will gain a roadmap for mastering SLII after the workshop is over. Session 6 will connect SLII to Working Styles using the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator. Learners will gain insight into their own MBTI profile. They will also learn about the dynamics between their style and that of those they lead.

After the workshop

  • Learners will have access to SLII tools and resources online.
  • Learners will have access to their facilitator, including a 30-minute coaching session upon request.
  • If there is interest, a 60-minute follow-up session will be scheduled 3-4 weeks after the workshop.
